Driving up the coast from Monterey to San Francisco, Rho and I stopped at Ano Nuevo. I was quite suprised to see how close they would let you get to the Sea Lions. These seal lions are females that are molting (very stinky).

Roger Schumann Open Coast Class
Sunday I got up early and met Roger and three other students at Montesary Beach for an open coast class. We ended up doing 9 miles exploring caves and playing in the pour overs. We paddled around Point Lobos and had lunch on a rocky beach just south of the park. I took the plastic Chatham which was a good thing as I made contact with a few rocks.
