Restroom & facilities (rinse water, showers, food, etc): There is a restroom in the parking garage at the launch site
Marine forecast, buoy reports, surf reports: E Winds 5 – 10 knots
Weather conditions at site (Sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc): Beautiful sunny day with little wind
Tidal and current information (include changes): We started on an ebb tide with slack at 11:20, there was a strong current to the south as we entered back into the Oakland Harbor
Boating traffic (type, density): Not much traffic except at the very end there was a sail class going on and a couple of tugs
Equipment used (kayak, paddle, recovery equipment, etc): I used my usual Chatham 16

Estimated paddle speed: a little over 3 mph
Paddle stops (location & duration): We stopped at the ramp on the north end of TI, 20 min
Food and water consumed (was it sufficient?): We snacked along the way
Equipment malfunctions or problems? My back band anchor on the left side fell apart. I managed an on the water repair after about 6 miles, it cause a bad cramp in my left hamstring

Did I dress appropriately for the day? (if not, what changes?) I started with a paddle jacket that I took off at the break
Vehicle traffic times: Crossing the Bay Bridge was a pain, took about 40 min

Nearest kayaking shop for supplies/equipment: CCK is about 50 feet from the launch, we paid a visit, I was looking for a tow line but didn’t find anything I was happy with
